We are recruiting for a Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work in a Service and Maintenance team. This role is based in York and involves supporting other engineers during their tasks. The organization has seen steady growth, doubling in size over the past few years, and has a full order book through to 2029.
Responsibilities
* Perform PPMs, repairs, and call‑outs as part of the on‑call rota.
Package
* Salary basic up to £42,000
* 40‑hour week
* 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
* On call duty
* Overtime on weekdays, evenings, and weekends

Requirements
* Experience in performing repairs to various buildings – Essential
* Electrical background and health and safety knowledge – Essential
* CRB checked – Essential
* C&G or NVQ Level 2 or above trained – Desirable
Suitable Backgrounds
* Building services, M&E, construction, industrial maintenance, facilities management, fire & security, hire organisations, or related industries.
* Experience as a fabric engineer, electrician, handyman, static electrical maintenance engineer, plumber, joiner, gas engineer, air‑conditioning technician, HVAC engineer, service engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, or multiskilled engineer.
