TREES PLEASE LTD is based in Corbridge, Northumberland and is one of the largest UK growers of bare root trees for the forestry, landscaping and agricultural sectors now supplying in excess of 14 million trees per year to its UK wide customer base.
We are looking for an Assistant to work alongside our Operations Director in the day-to-day running of the business.
This is a varied role, to include the following tasks:-
* Maintaining crop records
* Maintaining harvest records & updating sales office records
* Producing necessary production & sales information for regular management meetings, including stock/sales figures etc
* Assisting with Health & Safety and ensuring compliance by managing documentation and ensuring timely completion. To include staff induction/ training records and organising updates when necessary.
* Assisting with Agency Staff induction and record keeping
* Monitoring and maintaining supplies including sourcing competitive prices
* Managing the upkeep and scheduling of vehicle & premises maintenance
* Plenty of ad-hoc projects
We are looking for an honest, enthusiastic, ‘hands on’ and ‘muck-in’ individual who is confident and has good organisational skills to work alongside our Operations Director.
The successful candidate must be accurate in data input and have a strong understanding of Excel with proven experience to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively with a proactive and flexible approach to work.
This is a full-time position – salary negotiable dependent upon experience.
