Description of Role We’re seeking an adept and innovative Digital & Content Manager to drive our online presence and be the digital owner of our brand. In this role, you will craft and implement comprehensive digital marketing and content strategies spanning social media, websites, blogs and email marketing platforms. The ideal candidate will have a track record of crafting compelling and authentic content that resonates with our audience, fosters meaningful brand connections and elevates brand equity. As Digital & Content Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing and will collaborate with Sector Marketing Managers and Product Leads to mastermind all aspects of digital marketing and content creation. Plan, develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing and content strategies that increase brand awareness, foster engagement and enhance overall performance. Work closely with sector marketing stakeholders to align strategies, ensuring integration and tailored content delivery to support their plans and requirements. Foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities to bring the North brand, propositions, products and values to life. Craft coherent and engaging content, ensuring a consistent visual brand identity and consistent messaging across all written copy and visual content. Generate a range of compelling content including web and campaign pages, videos, blogs, emails and social media campaigns and posts. Curate and manage a suite of sector-specific content and visual assets. Implement best-practice SEO techniques to optimise content performance and enhance visibility across digital platforms. Develop, manage and evolve the North and IoT Scotland websites and content. Manage email campaigns, including segmentation and automation to maximise impact Analyse key metrics and performance indicators, using data-driven insights to improve effectiveness and amplify success. Identify new platforms and tools to advance digital performance, constantly pushing ideas to drive innovation and growth For development purposes the following knowledge, skills and experience are required. 7 years’ experience in multi-channel Marketing/Digital & Content role Creative & driven with a passion for new ideas Proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Suite is essential CMS experience, ideally Umbraco & WordPress Strong team player Excellent communication & copywriting skills Exceptional eye for design & detail orientated Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and paid campaigns Experience working within a tech role would be advantageous North rewards employees with a competitive market salary and an excellent benefits package and offers fantastic opportunities for progression throughout the company.
