Our system also incorporates user interfaces such as HMI (Human Machine Interface), diagnostic tools, IT (Information Technology) infrastructure, and IT security. We utilize our in-house developed real-time platform, MACH, to meet the power industry’s standards. This role offers the opportunity to travel abroad and participate in building some of our many power stations around the world.**This is a hybrid working role 3 days in our Glasgow offices remaining working from home office. Please note we are not able to provide visa support.****How you’ll make an impact*** **Cubicle Design & Integration**: Design cubicles and integrate all hardware components.* **Documentation**: Create Bill of Materials, terminal diagrams, cable lists, and termination schedules.* **Coordination & Inspection**: Coordinate with cubicle manufacturers and perform inspections.* **Design Preparation**: Prepare design specifications, overview diagrams, and concept clarifications.* **Design Review**: Participate in or lead design review meetings to identify and correct errors.* **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Discuss with other departments to prepare the division of works.* **Validation**: Validate design drawings/documents from sub-suppliers to meet specifications.* **Support & Collaboration**: Provide support during tests and commissioning, and collaborate with customers and colleagues.**Your background*** **Educational Background**: You possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field.* **Professional Experience**: You have prior experience with HVDC projects and at least three years of work experience in the UK.* **Technical Expertise**: You have strong knowledge in control and protection panel design (CRP).* **Additional Skills**: Site experience in control and protection testing and commissioning is advantageous but not mandatory.* **Software Proficiency**: Experience with CAD tools for control systems, such as Engineering Base or Ruplan, is highly valued.* **Specialized Knowledge**: Having EMC knowledge or experience with AC sub-stations and control systems is considered a plus.## Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
