St Bartholomew’s Hospital is the oldest working hospital in the country, celebrating its 900 year anniversary in 2023. It is located in Smithfield in the heart of the City of London. The hospital is a centre of excellence for heart and cancer care, housing the largest cardiac centre in Europe and covering a population of 6 million.

Responsibilities
* Participate in the effective and safe running of the MRI department and perform a wide range of specialist MRI scans in the extended hours 7-day service (08:00-20:00).
* Provide supervision/line management to imaging assistants, students, and visitors to the MRI department.
* Ensure patient flow by actively managing the flow of outpatients and in-patients.
* Engage in prompt protocoling, checking of conditional devices, and liaise with radiologists and other clinicians to unblock barriers to scanning.
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and experience, including diffusing potential complaints to maintain patient and carer satisfaction.
* Demonstrate good organisational skills and the ability to motivate the team.
Qualifications
* Band 7 HCPC registered MRI radiographer.
* Experience working 7 days per week between 08:00 and 20:00.
* Strong organisational skills and motivation to lead a team.
