Job Title: Creative Background Teaching Assistant
We are currently recruiting teaching assistants from creative backgrounds such as art, music, or acting for an outstanding school in Wandsworth. The role is suitable for those passionate about working with students with special needs, including autism, physical difficulties, and learning difficulties. The school offers a tailored curriculum to meet diverse needs.
Role Details:
1. Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM
2. Work one-to-one with primary students
3. Engage students through creative activities such as music, art, dance, and movement
4. Develop communication and social skills using creative approaches
5. Assist with sensory integration within the classroom
6. Collaborate with teachers to assess pupils' levels and abilities
This role is available to start immediately or after half-term.
