Job Description
KBR seeks a dynamic Sales Director to lead technology and licensing business development across Europe. This senior role involves selling KBR’s process technologies—including ammonia, hydrogen, olefins, refining, and plastic recycling—to clients in energy, chemicals, and circular economy sectors. The role is pivotal in positioning KBR’s technology portfolio within Europe’s energy transition.
Key Responsibilities
* Technology Sales & Licensing Strategy: Develop and implement regional go-to-market strategies, build and manage high-value opportunity pipelines, and lead complex sales pursuits including licensing agreements and technology transfer.
* Client Relationship Leadership: Act as a strategic advisor to major clients, deepen relationships across technical and executive teams, and position KBR technology as a basis of design.
* Market Development: Identify emerging trends such as hydrogen hubs and decarbonisation projects, support collaboration with EPC partners and government agencies, and monitor regulatory drivers in EU markets.
* Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with global teams, support strategic partnerships, and work with digital and sustainability teams to create integrated solutions.
Job Qualifications
* Proven experience in sales, licensing, or business development of process technologies in refining, petrochemicals, or clean energy sectors.
* Track record of closing technology license deals.
* Deep understanding of licensing processes, including IP, guarantees, and plant revamps/newbuilds.
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
* Familiarity with European energy and chemicals markets and decarbonisation trends.
* Fluent English; additional European languages are desirable.
