About The Role

GRADUATE BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST - Permanent role
DIVISION: Central
LOCATION: Hillsborough, Northern Ireland

As the GRAHAM Business continues to grow and develop, we are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Business Process Analyst to join our team.

The Business Process Analyst provides business management services to the department and business:

1. Identify opportunities to improve business solutions
2. Act as engagement contact between IT and business stakeholders
3. Work closely with the specific functions/departments, to ensure our system capabilities are fully exploited and provide added value to function/department and overall business
4. Act as contact point between system provider, business functions/departments and all other IT colleagues and be responsible for ongoing exploitation
5. Adhere to ISO standards and PMO agreed Process from Project Management, specifications, testing and UAT, training and process mapping
6. Support the design, implementation and deployment of new Business Systems
7. Maintain user experience at the forefront of solution design
8. Ensure training and documentation requirements are fulfilled

9. Build strong rapport with key business stakeholders

11. Passionate about using technology to solve business problems
12. Through engagement with the business feed into the overall Digital Strategy, and provide ideas and a roadmap for where technology should be used
13. Engaging business stakeholders with non technical language
14. Motivated self starter who is keen to deliver to an excellent quality

Problem Solving

15. Assume ownership for all business function requests within remit
16. Manage and own case/issues log with 3rd party vendors
17. Escalate Service Level Agreement issues/non-deliverables to IT Business Engagement Manager
18. Ability to understand complex business problems and address through the use of technology
19. Offering advice on processes that will reduce user frustrations
20. Process mapping of current and to be – with clear benefit measurements
21. Holistic understanding of business processes

Delivery

22. Contribute to solutions training, strategic and tactical plans
23. Develop, deploy and maintain training materials for key systems within remit
24. Identify, prepare and deliver training needs within remit
25. Facilitate preparation of business process and end-user documentation, advise of updates in areas of responsibility
26. Proactively ensure all IT documentation for change requests, projects and processes are prepared & validated in a timely manner/in accordance with initiative delivery plan
27. Driven by deliverables, take complex problems and break them into bite sized chunks, ensuring the business is engaged in the short term, validate the solution and provide quick wins
28. Understand scope of agreed work and when to accommodate or escalate scope creep
29. Clear experience of working to deadlines
30. Adhere to ISO standards and policies
31. Ability to manage a project from conception, through to handover and delivery covering: Business case and specification Make recommendations on a case by case basis between bespoke development and off the shelf Vendor Management Wireframe generation Product User workshopping Product Management/Roadmap System Documentation and Training System Testing Appreciation of UI/UX and how it affects solutions

32. Ability to understand business case for projects, and be able to prioritise based on what will provide the best value
33. Reviewing current systems/processes to drive improvements and evolve our solutions.

34. Supporting Business Systems as required

Teamwork

35. Working within the Business Engagement and wider IT team to share knowledge and improve performance
36. Participate in peer reviews to give and receive constructive feedback
Essential
37. 3rd Level Education in Business Management/Studies or equivalent
38. Articulate and capable of presenting across all levels within company
39. Excellent client facing communication skills, written and verbal
40. Self-starter and ability to work on own initiative
41. Good interpersonal skill
42. Remote working is not available for this role

This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the Graduate Business Process Analyst and the range of duties to be undertaken. It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.

Other Information
43. Job is located at Head Office with Hybrid working available
44. Some travel to other sites may be necessary.
45. Provision of application support, outside normal working hours may be required to minimise business disruption and downtime.
