Radiology Department Assistant – Part Time
We have a fantastic opportunity for a part‑time Radiology Department Assistant to join the imaging team at Tees Valley Hospital, primarily supporting ultrasound clinics. This is a fixed term contract (maternity cover).
Based at Tees Valley Hospital, located on the grounds of Acklam Hall in Middlesbrough, which offers a range of specialties including orthopaedics, general surgery, plastic surgery, urology, gynaecology, dermatology, oral, ENT, endoscopy, for both private and NHS patients.
Responsibilities
* Support ultrasound clinics and assist with general radiology department operations.
* Assist with plain film, theatres and ultrasound procedures as required.
* Work effectively both in a team environment and independently as required.
Qualifications
* Sound written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
* Passion to deliver high quality diagnostic services.
* A flexible and positive can‑do attitude.
* Previous experience within a Radiology Department or other healthcare environments.
