Community Occupational Therapist Role Job Title: Locum Occupational Therapist Location: Barry, CF63 1NH Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing * About the Role * This position focuses on supporting adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities, helping them maintain independence and remain safely in their own homes. * You’ll carry out specialist assessments, recommend equipment and adaptations (minor and major works), complete manual handling assessments, and review outcomes to ensure interventions are effective. * Key Responsibilities * Deliver specialist OT assessments, interventions, and reviews for adults with complex needs. * Recommend and monitor adaptations, equipment, and support solutions. * Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and alongside NHS, social services, council teams, and voluntary organisations. * Supervise junior staff, assistants, and students where required. * Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service development. * Qualified Occupational Therapist IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THIS ROLE, PLEASE STILL GET IN TOUCH AS WE HAVE MANY OPEN VACANCIES!
