Management Accountant – Exeter - £50k - £60k – Full time – Permanent – Built in Progression with this role

Trial Balance Consulting are pleased to be working with a large and rapidly growing organisation in Exeter to recruit a Management Accountant. This Management Accountant position would suit either an experienced Management Accountant or a commercially minded finance professional ready to step into a broader and more senior Management Accountant role.
Working as part of a high performing finance team, the Management Accountant will support financial reporting activities across multiple business areas while partnering closely with operational stakeholders to support performance and ongoing growth.
This is a varied and commercially focused Management Accountant role within a dynamic environment where no two days are quite the same.
Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:
- Assisting with the production of monthly financial reporting and analysis
- Reviewing financial information and investigating discrepancies where required
- Supporting forecasting, budgeting, and business performance activities
- Preparing reporting packs and supporting period end processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting efficiency
- Providing support across the wider finance function during busy periods
- Producing meaningful financial insight to aid operational decision making
- Building strong working relationships across the business and with external contacts
We are seeking a Management Accountant with strong commercial awareness and experience working within a fast paced business environment. Previous experience within a multi entity or operationally focused organisation would be highly beneficial.
The successful Management Accountant will possess strong Excel and systems skills alongside the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non finance stakeholders.
ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or qualified by experience candidates will all be considered.
