* Review and evaluate concessions and production permits raised by Manufacturing and Quality teams, assessing technical validity and impact on design intent and product performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, inspectors and shop-floor operators to understand root causes and develop appropriate engineering dispositions.
* Apply strong mechanical design engineering knowledge to determine acceptability of deviations and ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
* Support resolution of production issues by providing timely engineering guidance and design-based decision making.
* Utilize SAP and CAD tools (preferably Creo) to review drawings, part configurations, and associated documentation.
Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
* Relevant work experience, of which at least 5 years should be from the aeronautical industry
* Comprehensive understanding of and ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
Required Skills
* Aerospace experience preferred; exposure to heat exchanger or thermal systems will be considered a strong advantage.
