Job Description:
Integral UK is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Carpentry Apprentice to join our building services team. This apprenticeship provides a fantastic opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in carpentry within a commercial setting. You will work alongside experienced carpenters, receiving thorough training and mentorship to establish a strong foundation for a successful career in the carpentry trade.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures and fixtures, including doors, windows, and partitions.
* Support senior carpenters on-site, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for carpentry projects.
* Participate in site visits to assist with inspections and quality control checks.
* Help select and prepare materials for construction and installation projects.
* Develop an understanding of health and safety regulations to ensure compliance and promote safe working practices.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Desired Skills, Qualities, and Experience:
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above. A grade 5 in Maths and Science is required for this role
* Enthusiastic and passionate about a career in engineering
* Eager to develop new skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Good level of Attendance, self-discipline and time management. Meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks effectively
* There is a minimum age requirement of 18 years old
* You may be required to complete a DBS check, at either basic or enhanced level, depending on the location you will be working in.
GRADES: If you are on predicted grades, your offer will be conditional to achieving the required grades before the apprenticeship start date.
