Job Description
Assist with the delivery of a clean and safe user environment within various premises across East Ayrshire to promote, deliver, and integrate the Council’s key objectives, specifically relating to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a PVG Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups or be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal offer of employment is made. PVG records are constantly updated; any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.
Responsibilities
Employment references are required following the 'Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment' guidance. Applicants should provide details of at least two relevant references, including one from their current or most recent employer, which must be from an appropriate senior manager, not a peer at the same level.

Additional Information
This is a permanent part-time position based at Barony Campus, working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10 am - 2 pm. The full-time salary ranges from £23,587 to £23,878 per annum. The role is term-time.
