Based at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, you’ll lead consumer marketing activity for the Palace and The King’s Gallery and develop business relationships across Scotland’s travel and tourism industry. From shaping marketing campaigns to hosting trade events, your work will ensure these remarkable sites are enjoyed by visitors from near and far.
Key Responsibilities:
* You’ll develop and deliver marketing campaigns that attract local, UK and international audiences, working with creative and media agencies.
* You’ll, produce engaging digital content for email marketing campaigns.
* You’ll analyse visitor data and market research to inform campaign planning and measure success.
* You’ll manage partnerships with tourism bodies and cultural organisations, ensuring they deliver to agreed objectives .
* You’ll cultivate relationships with travel trade partners, attend trade shows and host promotional events.
* You’ll support daily operations by coordinating contracts, marketing materials and onsite press activity.
Essential Criteria:
* With proven experience of delivering consumer marketing campaigns, ideally within the cultural or heritage sector, you’ll be confident developing engaging content that attract diverse audiences, strengthen brand presence and adapt to emerging trends.
* Experience of working with travel industry businesses and tourism partners will help you build effective collaborations and broaden the organisation’s reach.
* Analytical skills are key, enabling you to interpret customer insight and data to support evidence-based decision making.
* Excellent written communication and attention to detail are vital, ensuring that all content is accurate, persuasive and aligned with the organisation’s values.
* Interpersonal skills are crucial too, as you’ll be networking and building strong, collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Highly organised and self-motivated, you’ll be confident managing projects and delivering results to tight deadlines.
