Your new companyA forward-thinking public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Strategic Investment Partnerships Advisor to drive major regeneration and investment programmes. This organisation is committed to long-term economic growth, place-making and delivering high-impact development opportunities through strong public-private partnerships.Your new roleYou will lead the development and delivery of a commercially focused investment strategy, designed to attract significant private sector funding and accelerate regeneration initiatives.Key responsibilities include:Developing and promoting a compelling investment strategy and prospectus to attract domestic and international investorsStructuring innovative funding models, including public-private partnerships, joint ventures and refinancing solutionsLeading on negotiations with institutional investors, developers and funding partnersProviding expert commercial and financial advice to senior stakeholders on investment opportunities, risk and governanceBuilding and maintaining high-level relationships across government, business and investor networksSupporting the development of long-term regeneration and place strategiesRepresenting the organisation at investment forums, events and stakeholder engagementsContributing to policy discussions and aligning investment strategies with national and regional prioritiesWhat you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:Experience:Proven track record in developing and delivering investment or commercial strategiesExperience securing significant private sector investment (typically £50m+)Strong background in financial structuring, PPPs, or complex funding arrangementsExperience working with investors, financial institutions, or within a corporate finance environmentDemonstrable success in managing senior stakeholder relationships and negotiating complex dealsExperience developing business cases, investment propositions and funding submissionsKnowledge & Skills:Strong commercial acumen with expertise in investment strategy and financial modellingDeep understanding of regeneration, economic development and inward investmentKnowledge of national policy, funding mechanisms and market conditionsExcellent negotiation, influencing and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to translate strategic priorities into investable opportunitiesStrong analytical, communication and presentation skillsQualifications:Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Finance, Economics, Real Estate or related)Professional or postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.What you'll get in returnOpportunity to shape and deliver high-profile investment and regeneration programmesExposure to senior stakeholders and major investment dealsFlexible and hybrid working arrangementsCompetitive daily rateA role with genuine strategic impact on long-term growth and developmentWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
