Contract Type: Part‑time, Permanent (Term Time Only)
Salary: Dependent on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 1:30pm
About the School:
We are supporting a warm, inclusive, and pupil‑centred school in Rochdale seeking a committed Lunchtime Organiser to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring pupils enjoy a safe, structured, and positive lunchtime experience.
Lunchtime Organiser – Role and Responsibilities:
1. Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground, and other designated areas
* Encourage positive behaviour, social skills, and safe play
* Support pupils with routines such as lining up, handwashing, and clearing away
* Assist in resolving minor issues calmly and positively
* Ensure the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of all pupils at all times
Lunchtime Organiser – What We’re Looking For:
2. Experience working with children (school, childcare, youth work, or similar)
* A friendly, patient, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* A commitment to promoting safeguarding and positive behaviour
* Reliability and a caring attitude toward pupils
Lunchtime Organiser – To Be Eligible You Must:
3. Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Have an enhanced child‑barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
* Be able to provide two professional references (school‑based preferred)
