Join Our Team as a Supported Living Manager!
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others? We have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Living Manager at our services in beautiful Northumberland. You will oversee two properties, including our newly opened service in Cramlington, featuring eight self-contained apartments, and a second scheme set to launch in September 2025 in the heart of Bedlington, with 12 additional apartments.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As the Supported Living Manager, your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional, high-quality services. You and your dedicated team will:
* Develop and maintain flexible support plans using our advanced digital care management system.
* Collaborate closely with the individuals we support, their families, and other professionals.
* Manage the day-to-day operations of both properties.
This role is perfect for a Team Manager or Team Leader looking to elevate their career into a senior management position. You will lead your team through a transformative period, and a background in supported living will be a significant advantage. Flexibility is key, and a full driving license with access to a car is required.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Previous management experience in the Learning Disability sector, preferably in supported living.
* Knowledge of CQC regulations and experience managing services governed by these standards.
* A track record of improving services and managing multiple properties.
* A solid understanding of supported living services.
* Experience in budget management and ensuring compliance with financial parameters.
* Strong skills in staff management, talent development, and performance management.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Experience working with Commissioners, Stakeholders, and Regulators.
You will also be part of an on-call rota, ensuring support is always available when needed.
