A housing association in Leicestershire is seeking an experienced Multi‑Trade Plumber to join their Voids Team. You’ll be responsible for preparing and refurbishing empty properties to a high standard, ensuring homes are safe, functional, and ready for new tenants.This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for long‑term stability, consistent hours, and the chance to secure a permanent position.
Your new role
1. First‑fix and second‑fix plumbing within void properties
2. Installation, repair, and replacement of pipework, taps, wastes, traps, cylinders, and sanitary ware
3. Basic multi‑trade tasks such as patch plastering, minor joinery, tiling, and making good
4. Diagnosing plumbing faults and carrying out effective repairs
5. Working independently across South Leicestershire, Market Harborough, and Northamptonshire
6. Ensuring all work meetspliance, safety, and quality standards
What you'll need to succeed
7. NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing
8. Proven experience as a Multi Trade Plumber, ideally within social housing or voids
9. Strong plumbing background with the ability toplete associated multi‑trade tasks
10. Own van and full set of tools
11. Ability to work independently across multiple sites
12. Good problem‑solving skills and amitment to high‑quality workmanship
