The Hair Studio is a small friendly salon in the market town of Rothwell, being an established salon of over 10 years we have some wonderful lovely clients who help to make a relaxing friendly working environment.
We are seeking an experienced hair stylist to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hair industry with a minimum of 3 years working in a busy salon and be passionate about providing exceptional customer service
Duties-
Provide a wide range of hair styling services including cutting ,barbering, colouring, styling and treatments
-Perform Consultations with clients to determine their Hair care needs and preferences
-Ensure client satisfaction by delivering a high quality service.
-Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques of hair styling and maintain a clean and organised work station.
-upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
-provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
-mentor and train junior stylists to improve their skills and knowledge
-communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired look and provide appropriate recommendations .
-perform additional salon duties such as front desk responsibilities
Experience and qualifications
-2 years + working in a busy salon.
-Valid NVQ
-Proven experience as a hair stylist
-Proficient in a variety of hair styling techniques to include cutting, colouring, perming and styling experience in children and barbering.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-Ability to work well in a small team environment with strong attention to detail and creativity.
