Role
This is a Data Science and Software Engineer placement year role within our Digital stream. You may join one of our Data Science teams covering the full data lifecycle or an Engineering Software team covering the entire software design lifecycle. Our teams deliver engineering solutions through system architecture, modelling, custom software and strategic advice across defence, energy, transport, government and other sectors.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, open and curious, enjoys problem‑solving, and is committed to delivering real‑world solutions. Those selected will receive training, mentoring and coaching, and support to achieve professional accreditations including chartership.

You should be on track to obtain a 2:1 degree or higher (or equivalent/experience) with a related bias in Engineering, Computer Science, Maths or Physical Sciences.
Pre‑employment screening and UK National Security Vetting clearance are required.
Recruitment Process

3. Step 3: Video Interview – situational and technical questions.
4. Step 4: Explore Interview – one‑hour virtual/in‑person interview with competency and technical questions.
5. Step 5: Decision/Feedback – you will receive feedback regardless of outcome.
