Location: Grace Holland Avenue, Pease Pottage, Crawley, West Sussex RH11 9SL.
Salary: £71,883 - £78,844 per annum (depending on experience).
St Catherine’s Hospice is a respected local charity providing specialist hospice care alongside statutory service partners (GPs, District nursing etc) across West Sussex and East Surrey.
The day- to-day provision of outstanding hospice care for the last 45 years is the basis of our local reputation and from this reputation for excellence we draw on the affection and support of thousands of funders, volunteers and supporters.
The Care Services Director is at the centre of everything we do. Working with the Senior Management Team and alongside our Medical Director this pivotal clinical leadership role will be our Registered Manager, leading on clinical governance and quality, patient data, our EPRS, while also ensuring effective and close line management support to key operational clinical teams and championing a learning culture.
We have recently set in place a new specialist palliative and end of life care service model and are seeking to develop this further by building income opportunities and value arising from the NHS Long Term Plan (expected July 2025). Along with all hospices, we plan to reinforce our funding through our traditional methods and also through innovation and commercialism. The Care Services Director will therefore play a leading role in securing our future.

This post is offered on a full time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week (flexibility will be considered).
