Position Information
* Position: Regional Learning & Development Lead – Travel across East Anglia
* Location: East Anglia region, remote with regional travel.
* Job type: Full time, 40 hours, permanent
* Working hours: Flexible, may require some evening and weekend hours, and reasonable additional hours when authorised.
About You
* An appropriate/recognised qualification in Learning and Development, essential, and a qualification in Health and Social Care Level 4 or above.
* At least 3 years’ experience in Adult Health and Social care, including experience in Learning Disabilities, with exposure to behaviors that challenge.
Key Responsibilities & Activities
* Ensure all regulated and required training is identified and delivered in a timely manner, achieving a national benchmark compliance of 95%.
* Produce an accurate monthly report outlining regional compliance, key actions/communications, contributing factors to compliance, good news, added value and role/regional specific priorities.
* Undertake regular service visits to implement identified needs via monthly meetings with each service manager, ensuring each request is planned, implemented, evaluated, and closed timely.
* Take appropriate actions in line with L&D functions and in discussion/agreement from service managers upon receipt of incident reports, quality audit reports, inspection visits and identified business needs.
* Add value where possible and inform training sessions based on observation/review meetings of a person supported.
