We’re on the lookout for motivated Specialist Support Workers to join our passionate team, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs across North Lincolnshire. We currently have two full‑time positions available—ready for the right people to step in and shine.
In this rewarding frontline role, you’ll be at the heart of helping individuals live safe, meaningful and joy-filled lives—both within our specialised centre and out in the community. We deliver dedicate music, art and sports session and are keen to enhance our offer drawing upon your skills and experience! We’re are particularly keen to expand our swimming offer, so if you have experience or confidence in this area, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Specialist Support Worker, you will:
1. Provide high-quality, person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
2. Support individuals with all aspects of personal care, always ensuring dignity, respect and choice.
3. Administer medication safely, following council policies and training.
4. Deliver PEG feeding and undertake additional clinical or health-related support tasks.
5. Encourage and empower people to maintain independence wherever possible.
6. Support individuals to access fun community activities, leisure opportunities and daily routines that enhance wellbeing.
7. Promote positive communication, engagement and social interaction.
8. Work collaboratively with families, carers, health professionals and partner agencies.
9. Keep accurate records and contribute to personalised support plans.
10. Champion safeguarding, inclusion and equality in all you do.
