Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Lift Service Engineer with strong diagnostic abilities and a customer-focused attitude. The ideal candidate will be NVQ Level 3 qualified (or equivalent), experienced in servicing and callouts, and confident working independently to manage their own schedule. Someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to high safety standards will thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to emergency callouts and breakdowns across your designated area
Diagnose and repair lift faults efficiently and safely
Carry out minor adjustments and temporary fixes to restore service
Complete accurate and timely service reports and documentation
Liaise with the office team and customers to provide updates and ensure customer satisfaction
Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours emergency response
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standard
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering
Proven experience in lift service and callout response
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Knowledge of major lift brands and control systems (advantageous)
