Carpenter / Joiner - Track Workshops
Location: Fulham, London
Duration: 6 months contract
Pay Rate: £39.28 p/hour
The role involves the manufacture, repair, and installation of precision timber components for use across the network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacture, modify, and repair timber components to spec
* Install timber items on site when required
* Operate hand and power tools, wood machines, and workshop equipment
* Work from technical drawings and templates
* Drive workshop vehicles to and from work sites (if required)
* Maintain a clean, safe working environment
Requirements:
* Apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on joinery experience
* Skilled in reading engineering drawings and producing timber assemblies
* Comfortable using machinery, overhead cranes, and mechanical handling tools
* Able to apply finishes and safely handle workshop solutions
