The Role:
I C Talent Education are seeking a passionate and skilled Design & Technology Teacher with expertise in Textiles and Woodwork. You will deliver engaging lessons, inspire creativity, and help students develop both technical and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, specialising in Textiles and Woodwork.
* Plan and deliver creative, practical, and theory-based lessons.
* Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing meaningful feedback.
* Foster a safe, organised, and inspiring workshop and classroom environment.
* Contribute to curriculum development and department initiatives.
* Encourage independent thinking, innovation, and a love for learning.
Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong expertise and practical experience in Textiles and Woodwork.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students of all abilities.
* Committed to promoting creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving.
