We are recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join our clients HR team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on, operational generalist role.
The role is fully site-based, in Edinburgh City Centre with onsite parking available. However there will be a requirement to travel to additional offices in the Edinburgh and surrounding areas to attend meetings as required, flexibility is required.
What you’ll do
* Partner with senior leaders to shape and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
* Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
* Support recruitment, talent management, and learning initiatives.
* Involvement in HR projects.
* Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
* Drive positive change and continuous improvement across the business.
What we’re looking for
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR experience.
* Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a unionised environment.
* Experience of leading complex ER cases.
* Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
* Proactive, adaptable, and ready to take ownership of projects.
