As a Graduate Apprentice you will study for your degree alongside your job, spending approximately 80% of your time in work and 20% in university. This unique combination offers an integrated experience, where practical skills and knowledge gained during the university days can be embedded in your working practices. Skills learned directly in the workplace are aligned with and can be applied to coursework and assessment. This allows you to attain your degree qualification in the same time as an equivalent full-time students. \n\nGraduate Apprenticeships in accounting play a crucial role in developing the future workforce of the accounting industry, aligning with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) mission to build a strong, skilled, and ethical profession. The course blends hands-on technical knowledge with theoretical understanding, utilising a range of remotely-accessible resources to allow access to specialised computer configurations. \n\nNapierâs Accountancy Graduate Apprenticeship is ideal for those looking to advance in accountancy while gaining practical experience in the workplace. \n\nDuring your time working as a Graduate Apprentice with us, you will gain direct experience of all aspects of financial management in a modern business, including: \n\n- Traditional bookkeeping, including day-to-day processing of transactions and reconciliation of accounts \n- Preparing internal and external financial reports, from basic compliance to KPIs and executive summaries \n- Oversight of existing internal controls, as well as identifying and delivering new controls where required \n- Supporting cost management, budgeting, and ad hoc financial analysis \n- Contributing to the development and implementation of new systems and software solutions as part of our wider digital transformation Please note that only year 1 entry is currently available on this Graduate Apprenticeship. To meet our Year 1 Entry Requirements you must have EITHER: \n\n- Four SQA Highers at Grade BBCC including both Maths and English at Grade C \n- A Foundation Apprenticeship in a relevant subject at SCQF Level 6 plus two SQA Highers \n- A Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 6-7 in a related discipline \n- HNC with C in the graded unit in a related discipline \n- Sufficient recognition of prior learning (RPL) through industry-related experience, qualifications, and informal learning.
