REF: Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Air-Conditioning Bias
Location: This is a field-based, mobile position covering the Aberdeen and North-East Scotland region.
The main postcodes that the role covers are: AB, DD, PH.
This role involves working for high street retail & banking clients for the TS-Mobile division.
Salary: The salary ranges from £28,000 to £50,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Purpose:
As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will operate and maintain building AC/HVAC systems, perform Planned Preventative Maintenance & Reactive Maintenance, conduct diagnostics and fault finding, and undertake general maintenance tasks including plumbing and toilet blockages. You will participate in out-of-hours call-out rota and complete all work documentation accurately and promptly.
Main Duties:
* Perform routine PPM tasks following the SFG20 framework.
* Carry out reactive maintenance and electrical repairs, including air conditioning repairs.
* Complete minor new works and certification as required.
* Attend site meetings or training sessions as needed.
* Be proactive on site and willing to undertake additional duties aligned with contract deliverables.
* Coordinate with other disciplines for multi-service provision.
* Procure materials and equipment through the Supervisor or Manager.
* Be available for additional work outside normal hours with extra pay.
* Participate in the callout rota with additional remuneration.
* Support contract mobilization and change management.
* Utilize mobile technology effectively.
* Manage financial procedures and improve delivery efficiencies.
* Adhere to company and department mission, vision, and values.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.
* Follow client operational procedures and obtain necessary access permissions.
* Complete risk assessments and obtain client authorization.
What we are looking for:
* Experience with maintenance, testing, and fault finding on HVAC and lighting equipment.
* Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Small Refrigeration, City & Guilds certifications, or F-Gas Category 1.
* At least 5 years of experience in an air conditioning service role.
* Experience with packaged or air handling equipment, split systems, and commercial equipment.
* Electrical qualifications such as C&G Part 1 & 2, BS Electrical Regulations, and ideally Electrical Inspection and Testing.
* Ability to undertake all maintenance and installation tasks within the contract scope.
* Proactive, diagnostic, and repair skills.
* Accurate record-keeping and workload prioritization abilities.
* Flexible approach to work hours and tasks.
* Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, professional appearance, and customer service orientation.
* Understanding of health and safety legislation and statutory compliance.
* Ability to carry tools up to 20kg, work at heights, and use vertical access equipment.
* Full UK driving license and availability for call-out duties.
