IT Helpdesk Analyst - Contract - temp cover
* Location: Brighton – Onsite 5 days a week

* Pay - £145 per day
We’re looking for a proactive and dependable IT Helpdesk Analyst to join a small, supportive IT team within a leading international research institute focused on global development. This is a fully onsite role where you’ll be the first point of contact for all day‑to‑day IT queries, ensuring users receive quick, friendly and effective support.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1st line support for hardware, software and user issues.
* Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft Office, laptops, printers and basic network queries.
* Set up new user accounts and support starters with device setup.
* Support onsite users and assist with basic AV/equipment issues.
* Log, update and manage tickets, escalating when required.
What We’re Looking For
1. Previous experience in an IT support/helpdesk role (or similar technical environment).
2. Good working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
3. Strong communication skills and a helpful, customer‑focused attitude.
4. Ability to work independently within a small, collaborative team.
