Health, Safety and Environment Advisor – Bristol – £38,000 - £42,000 + Benefits

This is a business that invests heavily in its people, champions development, and is dedicated to building a positive, proactive safety culture across all its sites. You\'ll be part of the wider HSE function within the group, while taking ownership day-to-day for health, safety and environment on their Bristol site.
In this hands-on role, you\'ll work closely with the site leadership and engineering teams, engaging and influencing colleagues across an industrial environment to drive improvements and embed best practice.
Responsibilities
* Promoting a positive health and safety culture across the site, seeking best practice at every opportunity
* Advising site teams to help them meet company standards and procedures
* Supporting the ongoing review and improvement of management systems in line with company policy
* Involvment with site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role ideally within an industrial setting, manufacturing environment, or a related industry
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent level 3 qualification
* Experience/knowledge of the ISO management systems
* Strong communication skills with experience engaging colleagues at all levels
