The Account Manager will be responsible for the operational delivery and growth of our most prestigious clients. The role holder will have experience of managing complex sales opportunities with sales cycles. You will possess strong communication skills and will be comfortable engaging senior procurement leaders, account directors and other key stakeholders. You will understand sector trends at a global and local level which will enable you to maximise opportunities to drive mutual benefits.

Responsibilities:

* Develop strategic relationships with Global partners, negotiating and maximising opportunities by demonstrating strong understanding of their business.
* Provide complex, high value quotations for multi vendor technologies and maximise opportunities.
* Demonstrate full ownership of account management adhering to agreed SLA's in line with internal process and procedures.
* Demonstrate commercial awareness.
* Build and maintain strong relationships through regular formal and informal meetings.
* Work with key vendors to deliver bespoke hardware and services that meet our partners needs.
* Conduct account mapping exercises to assess opportunities whilst maintaining regular notes via the company CRM system and develop account plans for complex accounts.
* Work collaboratively, sharing best practice with the wider account team.
Skills Required:
* Strong Knowledge of IT industry preferably having worked in the IT Channel previously.
* Account management experience, within in a highly commercial environment, preferably within IT sector.
* Experienced and skilled negotiator, able to influence at the most senior level.
* Proven ability in strategic thinking and planning Ability to track, monitor, and report on sales activities using Internal software/CRM.
* Strong IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work well as part of a team and the ability on your own to work using initiative to problem.
