We currently have exciting opportunities for passionate, dedicated Student Admissions and Guidance Officers. The working hours will be 8.30-5.00 Mon-Thurs & 8.30-4.30 Fridays, plus occasional evenings and weekends. Duties:

* Assist with the end-to-end admissions process for applications, from first contact to enrolment. Serve as the initial point of contact for applicants, supporting prospective students in their application process.
* Collaborate with SHCG colleagues to ensure an efficient and fair application process for all applicants.


Skills/Experience:

* Deliver excellent customer service at all times, being the first point of contact for applicant inquiries, providing essential information, and supporting students in making appropriate choices.
* Good understanding of adult funding streams.
* Knowledge of the application process for 16-18, Higher Education, and adult audiences, including guidance on travel, finances, and course information.


Qualifications:

* 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C or above (IT skills are desirable).
* Level 3/4 Qualification in a relevant field, e.g., Business Admin.

* Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and foster a good departmental atmosphere.
* Ability to build trusting relationships with students, parents/carers, and other stakeholders.
* Reliability, honesty, and high professional standards.
* Driving license and/or access to transportation; cross-campus working may be required.
