We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Packaging Operator
to join our Production Operations team. In this role, you will operate and maintain high-speed packaging equipment to ensure products consistently meet
quality, safety, and production standards
. You will play a key role in supporting efficient operations, driving continuous improvement, and upholding our commitment to excellence in healthcare manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and set up packaging equipment, ensuring correct functionality and compliance with GMP and GDP standards.
* Carry out
line set-ups, in-process tests, yield calculations, and product inspections
to maintain quality.
* Complete
batch documentation and system transactions (SAP or equivalent)
with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Minimise downtime and maximise productivity through effective troubleshooting and clear handovers.
* Support the
installation, qualification, and validation
of new packaging equipment and tooling.
* Dismantle, clean, and reassemble equipment, ensuring high standards of maintenance.
* Provide training to colleagues on packaging systems, procedures, and techniques.
* Contribute to
quality investigations, audits, and CAPA activities
.
* Promote and maintain a
safe working environment
, reporting and acting on any incidents or near misses.
* Take part in
manual packaging operations, facility cleaning, and routine maintenance activities
.
What We're Looking For
* Experience operating
high-speed packaging equipment
in a regulated manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical, healthcare, or similar).
* Strong
attention to detail
and ability to produce clear, accurate documentation.
* Good
problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
.
* A positive, team-focused mindset with resilience and adaptability.
* Knowledge of
GMP/GDP standards
and compliance requirements.
