This job require frequent travel to local schools and suitable for applicants live in South London.
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Coding Educator to join our team. This role involves teaching basic to intermediate coding concepts to children aged [7 to 15 range]. This is an excellent opportunity for college and university students looking to gain experience in education and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Engaging Lessons: Prepare and deliver engaging coding lessons that captivate
young learners. Progress Monitoring: Track and evaluate the progress of students, providing feedback and support.Collaboration: Work closely with other educators and staff to enhance teaching methods and student learning experiences.Parental Communication: Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and achievements.
Primary Skills:
Coding Knowledge: Proficiency in at least one programming language ( Python, Scratch, Java). Teaching Ability: Ability to explain complex concepts in an easily understandable, age-appropriate manner.
Secondary Skills:
Creativity: Develop fun and interactive learning activities.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with children and parents effectively.
Qualifications:
● Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a college or university program.
● No prior professional experience required.
Training:
Comprehensive training will be provided by i2Tech Academy to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
