Sales Director – Technical background – Line Management – Defence Markets: RF / Electronic Warfare / Radar / Security. A technically competent Sales Director will lead the Sales Team of an established High-Tech Company. You’ll be given the autonomy to create and execute a strategy to carry on the successful growth of sales and lead major new project bids. You will possess a background incorporating Defence related RF/Electronic warfare products. You must either hold or be eligible for UK Security Clearance. Reporting to the CEO, the Sales Director will be given the opportunity to bring their ideas and experiences to the role; being given responsibility for key sales strategies and leading major project bids. A strong technical understanding is required in order to liaise effectively with customers and to deliver the key marketing information to the engineering team, ensuring future products align with market requirements. The successful Sales Director will possess excellent line management experience, a collaborative approach as well as demonstrating their experience of generating new business leads (including some long sales cycles) to expanding into new markets and regions.
