Saltash Community School

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Grade D, £24,796 per annum pro rate (pay award pending)

Actual salary: approx. £20,829 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week, 38.2 weeks per year (term time plus 1 INSET day). Daily working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with 1/2 hour lunch break.

To start: 1 September 2026

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident and flexible person with excellent communication skills to become a member of our hard‑working team. It is essential that the person appointed has good front of house and organisational skills, the ability to work as part of a team and to be able to use their own initiative.

Saltash Community School is a co‑educational 11‑18 school of over 1200 students including a successful sixth form and incorporating an Area Resource Base; a specialised environment for children with severe and complex learning needs.
