The Role
The school is seeking a committed and inspiring Mathematics Teacher who will:

Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 to 5, including GCSE and A-Level

Deliver engaging, challenging lessons that stretch the most able while supporting all learners
*
Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and resource sharing
*
Play an active role in Maths enrichment, including UKMT challenges, Olympiad preparation, and clubs
*
Uphold the school’s values of excellence, integrity, and pastoral care
*
Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including form tutoring and co-curricular activities
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:

Hold a strong academic degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
*
Possess QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE or appropriate international training)
*
Have experience teaching Mathematics up to A-Level, preferably within a high-achieving or independent setting
*
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom presence, and an ability to inspire a love of learning
*
Be a team player who enjoys collaborative planning and professional dialogue
*
Show a genuine interest in pastoral care and the full breadth of independent school life
