Outpatients Healthcare assistant / Phlebotomist
Location: 40 Bank Street, Canary Wharf, London
Type: Full Time, 37.5 hours/week
Shifts: 7.5-hour shifts between 08:00 and 20:00, including occasional Saturdays
Contract: Permanent
We’re seeking a Healthcare Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our Outpatient team at the London Bridge Hospital, rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
This role is based at our Canary Wharf site, with flexibility to work across satellite centres (Old Broad Street, Shard, London Bridge).
In spring 2024, HCA Healthcare UK will open a new £18 million, 20,000 sq. ft. outpatients and diagnostics centre in Canary Wharf, enhancing healthcare accessibility in the area.
The London Bridge Hospital campus includes outpatient and diagnostic centres in The Shard, a large hospital at Tooley Street, Private Care at Guys, and other outpatient centres across the City and Canary Wharf.
As a healthcare assistant, you will work under the guidance of a registered nurse, assisting in clinics, chaperoning, and supporting medical staff during outpatient and ultrasound procedures.

Requirements:
* Previous healthcare/hospital experience
* Updated clinical skills/knowledge
* Ability to coordinate outpatient activities
* Professional and personal development evidence
* NVQ in Health and Social Care or Care certificate
