They are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor on a full-time, permanent basis, with hybrid working options.
Your new role as the Purchase Ledger Supervisor:
* Team Supervision: Manage and oversee the purchase ledger team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, performance monitoring, and providing training and development.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, authorise payments, and maintain supplier relationships.
* Handle month-end and year-end activities, including accruals, prepayments, and supporting audits.
* Prepare reports for management, analyze supplier accounts, and assist with aged creditor reports.
* Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and ensure adherence to internal controls.
* Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Experience & skills required:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar high-volume transactional environment.
* Experience managing or supervising an accounts payable team.
* Strong relationship-building skills with suppliers and clients.
* Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and personal accountability.
* Proficient in data entry with high accuracy.
Salary and benefits:
* £25,000 annual salary.
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
