Overview
Own your future and join us as the Domestic Assistant at our West Cambridge Day Nursery in Cambridge. This role is part-time (25 hours a week) and you will work a variety of shifts between 8am–6pm, Monday–Friday, 52 weeks of the year.
Responsibilities
* Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness within the nursery, working between visits from the out-of-hours cleaning team.
* Uphold a safe environment by managing COSHH-aware cleaning, restocking bathrooms and kitchen areas, emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors, performing high-level dusting, and caring for laundry.
* Collaborate as part of a team and build meaningful, respectful relationships with colleagues.
Qualifications
* Experience in a professional housekeeping role with a track record of high cleanliness standards.
* Attention to detail and initiative in maintaining a safe, well-organised environment.
* Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative approach.

Other information
To apply, you must currently reside in the UK and hold suitable Right To Work in the UK. VISA sponsorship is not available at present. Before commencing in your new role, you will be required to provide Right To Work documentation and any relevant qualifications. An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references must also be obtained. Our Recruitment Team is available to support you through the process.
The nursery is open on May bank holidays; if Monday is a standard working day for you, you will be required to work on these dates. Paid time off will be awarded in lieu for you to take on another day.
