TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancypractice recruitment agency is supporting a fantastic firm of chartered Accountantsbased in Gravesend, in their search for an Audit Senior Manager.
They are seeking an experienced Auditsenior Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, withpartnership prospects on offer. This position will primarily be focused onaccounts and audit and accounts work and the levels can be adjusted based onthe applicant's experience and aspirations. You will work with a mixed clientbase with a large proportion of corporate clients, across a range of industriesand turnover up to £250m.
The successful candidate will beresponsible for:
1. The role will focus mainly on delivering accountancy and audit services.
2. Support a varied portfolio of owner managed business clients.
3. Lead audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the team and client where necessary.
4. Host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
5. Provide accountancy advice and support to clients as necessary.
6. Conduct client meetings for the presentation of final draft accounts.
7. Lead and manage a small team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
8. Mentor the team -- reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
9. Develop and expand the team’s skillset through development plans and training and support.
10. Contribute to the firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
