Job Description:
MCS Group is supporting a large public sector organization based in Belfast in recruiting a HR Business Coordinator. The role includes:
1. Supporting the Human Resource Manager(s) in managing and reporting on HR and employee relations issues in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
2. Acting as investigating officer for grievances and disciplinary cases, following HR policies and procedures.
3. Managing human resource records related to recruitment, discipline, sickness absence, overtime, leave, etc., and developing reports for operational and senior management.
4. Monitoring and auditing departmental HR performance data, including overtime, agency work, and attendance, and participating in absence management, disciplinary, and grievance cases.
5. Assisting in managing sickness absence, including monitoring absence figures and implementing policies.
The Person
Applicants should have:
* A third-level qualification in Business Studies or Human Resource Management.
* Experience working in a unionized organization.
* Advice and guidance experience in key HR subjects.
