The Role of the FinanceAssistant
To carry out dailytransactional finance tasks underpinning the finance function underthe guidance of the APSupervisor.
KeyAccountabilities
AccountsPayable
* Dailyresponsibility for invoice and purchase order support andprocessing.
* Schedule weekly payments inaccounting system and bank based on duedate.
* Assist with new supplier creation checksincluding verification of bank and contactdetails.
* Weekly detailed tasks required tosupport across the AP/AR and transactional accountingareas.
* Training wider business on financesystems.
* Review and approve employeeexpenses.
OtherDuties
* Maintenance ofmaster supplier list direct debit and standing orderlists.
* Consistent update of playeraccommodation document and associatedsuppliers.
* Answer general finance departmentcalls/emails and respond or direct to the relevant member of theteam.
* Completion of basic balance sheetreconciliations.
* Ad hoc finance departmenttasks such as mail distribution banking and contractreviews.
* Statementreconciliations.
