Our client, a leading biotechnology organisation is of a Quality/QHSE Officer for their new site, responsible for their ISO 9001 and ISO 4001 QMS. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a continuously expanding business at the forefront of biotechnological innovation,
The role:
As a QA specialist you will play a key role in ensuring compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 4001 standards whilst maintaining and providing continuous improvement to quality management..
Specifics of the role include:
• Generation, review and update SOPs
• Compile risk assessments
• Manage and update Quality documentation systems including archiving/ document control
• Support audits
• Assist management during regulatory inspection
• Address customer queries and product investigations
• Managing customer complaints efficiently ensuring effective outcomes
• Stay current with industry trends to drive improvement in product and service quality
• Contribute to Quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain an auditable training record
• Maintain the quality documentation system
Support the implementation, execution, and maintenance of the QMS, including but not limited to:
• Risk Assessments
• Change Controls
• CAPAs
• Deviations
• Complaints
• Recalls
What we're looking for
• Manufacturing experience required (open to industries)
• Strong understanding in ISO 9001/ISO 4001 standards in a quality related role
• CAPA, deviation, internal audit preparation and complaint handling (highly desirable)
• Excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft applications
• The ideal Applicant will have experience in H&S/ managing H&S practices onsite
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to produce clear written reports and engage effectively with colleagues and customers
