Days & hours:
Tuesday and Thursday 9.15am – 1.15pm. This is a permanent position during term time only.
We will review applications upon receipt, and the ideal candidate may be appointed before the closing date.
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a Playcentre Course 3 qualification or higher or an Early Childhood qualification of Level 4 or higher.
* Hold a current First Aid Certificate or be willing to achieve this.
* Hold a primary teaching qualification and be prepared to undertake a Playcentre Bridging Course.

Desirable skills and experience will include:
* Knowledge and understanding of Te Whāriki and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
* A passion for Playcentre and our philosophy.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with tamariki and adults.
* Passion for empowering and engaging with all whānau to foster a sense of belonging during our sessions.
* Knowledge of ECE regulations or willingness to upskill.
* Ability to use technology.
