Overview
There is an exciting opportunity to join the Cardiac Physiology Team at NHS Forth Valley. We are looking for an additional Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologist to join our friendly and experienced Echocardiography team.
Responsibilities
* Provide routine diagnostic procedures within Cardiac Investigations, including routine ECG, Holter/Events monitors and recorders, Ambulatory monitoring analysis, Exercise Tolerance tests, and implantable loop clinics and implants.
* Offer echocardiography services including TTE, TOE, Stress Echo and Contrast/Bubble studies.
* Contribute to a well-established multimodality cardiac imaging service with CT coronary angiography and developing cardiac MRI.
* Support specialised clinics such as Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and Specialised Valve Clinics, and participate in Paediatric and Adult Congenital areas.
* Engage in weekly Echo MDT and fortnightly CT MDT with opportunities for ongoing training.
* Participate in annual Basic and Advanced educational courses and support clinical education for staff and trainees.
Qualifications
* BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent and HCPC registration as a clinical scientist or AHCS practitioner/RCCP registration, and ILS.
* The post holder will hold a BSE/EACVI Exam Accreditation and be able to work independently to a high level.
Employment details
This job will be 22.5 hours WTE. Applications for part-time hours or job share would be considered.
