The opportunity
A great opportunity for an associate director to join our established health sector within Mace, which is currently experiencing an exciting and sustained period of growth. The existing team has a proven track record of successfully delivering a wide variety of projects of the highest quality, working with some of the largest NHS Trusts in the country. As an associate director, you will be responsible for leading high performing teams in the successful delivery of multiple healthcare projects or programmes.
This is a client-facing role, responsible for leading other team members, developing the clients’ strategy, through to assisting in the appointment of the extended professional team of local and international consultants and contractors.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Providing leadership and project management in all facets of the project activities to deliver the project to cost, time and quality requirements.
·Developing and managing effective communication with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that requirements are identified.
·Developing the clients brief, delivery strategy and leading the design management, procurement and execution of the scheme.
·Supervising and developing a team that strives for quality, safety, cost and schedule improvements at every opportunity with all delivery partners, challenging and seeking to improve the project deliverables.
·Overseeing that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the project.
·Performing non-project related roles including business reporting, bidding, resourcing and others as directed by the business lead.
About you
You have a degree qualification in a relevant discipline and a member of a professional body institute such as RICS, CIOB or APM. You have experience of leading on large projects or a capital programme of work within the healthcare sector. You have experience of contract administration for both JCT and NEC contracts.
You have experience in managing complex projects with public sector clients and thrive on delivering positive outcomes. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and work well as part of a team. You will have experience in delivering projects in a consultancy environment, keen to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
