We are looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent for a long term contract role, to work on site on behalf of our client, a major engineering contractor operating within the energy sector on a Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage project.
As Electrical Superintendent, you will report to the Site Construction manager. You will organize, coordinate and control the execution of the electrical works, performed by subcontractors or employees. You will be responsabile for the safety of personnel in High Voltage areas by ensuring the safety and quality standards and procedures implemented are compliant to use the structure and the high voltage system without risks.
The Role:
* Coordinate the activities of 2-3 electrical supervisors and any other personnel involved
* Verify and confirm the availability of drawings and materials to plan the efficient execution of the works performed (feasibility analysis)
* Supervise external stakeholders such as clients, contractors, vendors, agency
* Analyze the progress of the work by identifying any cause of deviations between the program and the work carried out and propose any corrective actions
* Control production parameters in terms of efficiency and productivity
* Ensure proper electrical discipline workflow, interfacing with all the project organization
* Support the resolution of technical problems encountered during the execution of the works
* Ensure the correct quantities accounts of the works, including updating man-hours and cost estimates for scope of work changes
* Supervise and monitor the electrical works performed or subcontracted
* Coordinate human and technical resources, indicating any needs or surplus.
Requirements:
* 15-20 years in high voltage electrical activities in a construction site context or similar
* Experience in high voltage systems, electrical vendors and site suppliers
* Certificates: SAP up to 11KVA, competency card
